Melbourne Writers Festival and immersive theatre-makers The Boon Companions invite you to the wedding party of 2018. Wear your best formal attire and bring your dancing shoes to this night of music, performance and spoken word with secret special guests. Join us to celebrate the almighty power of love, and surrender to the romance of possibility.

With award-winning theatre-maker Candy Bowers appearing as marriage celebrant. Doors open at 7.45pm; performance starts at 8pm. Drinks will be available for purchase from the bar.

Mission to Seafarers

The Mission to Seafarers is a heritage-listed building, built in the enchanting Arts and Crafts style and full of rustic charm. For over 100 years, the Mission has attended to seafarers’ welfare and wellbeing part of a network of organisations that offer welcome, assistance and support to seafarers in ports far from home. The Mission to Seafarers has operated from this iconic building in Flinders Street since 1917.
Take Yarra Trams route 35 (free City Circle tram), 70 or 75 to stop number D5 or D6; or route 11 or 48 to stop number D15. Flinders St is the closest train station. Further transport information is available through the Public Transport Victoria Journey Planner at ptv.vic.gov.au. Public car parking is available at DFO South Wharf, which is approximately a 10-minute walk via South Wharf and Seafarers Bridge across the river.
Mission to Seafarers is wheelchair accessible, however the toilets are not wheelchair accessible but can be accessed using a walking frame. The side entrance on Siddeley Street is a level accessible entrance. There are two steps into the building at the front entrance on Flinders Street.
