Sam Merrifield Library is a public library located in Moonee Ponds and is the largest branch of Moonee Valley Libraries.
Transport Information
The Moonee Ponds Station (Craigieburn line) is a 5-minute walk down Puckle St. The 59 tram stops at the Moonee Ponds Junction. A number of bus routes (472, 477, 504, 508) go through Moonee Ponds. Bike parking is available in the walkway near the Library.
Accessibility Information
There is wheelchair access via the main library entrance on Mt Alexander Road. The Library is on a single level. There is ample space between shelves and displays and entrances into meeting rooms for wheelchair access. There is an accessible bathroom available. Please contact library staff in person or call 8325 1950 if you require access for a wheelchair or scooter when attending an event so that we can ensure appropriate seating is arranged.
