The High Ground, Wurdi Youang, is a unique, under-the-dome space with inspiring architecture, intuitive technology and a north-facing balcony with scene-stealing views over Geelong, Corio Bay and the You Yangs. Located in the heart of Geelong’s cultural precinct, the High Ground is adjacent to historic Johnstone Park and a short walk from the Geelong railway station, the CBD and the waterfront.
Transport Information
Arriving by train to Geelong Train Station: Walking from the train station, head towards Johnstone Park and walk up the hill. Once you reach Little Malop Street turn left. When you reach the giant silver ball on your right, you’ll turn left through a double sliding door to enter the foyer.
Accessibility Information
There are lifts, disabled parking immediately in front of the venue, and a Changing Places-accredited toilet facility located on the ground floor. All levels of the Geelong Library and Heritage Centre are wheelchair accessible. This event will be held in Wurdi Youang (Level 5) which also has a Hearing Loop available.
